Search for Local or National Help

The Hub of Hope is the UK’s leading mental health support database, provided by national mental health charity, Chasing the Stigma. It brings local, national, peer, community, charity, private and NHS mental health support and services together in one place.

When you’re experiencing a mental health problem, supportive and reliable information can change your life. That’s what MIND do. They empower people to understand their mental health and the choices available to them.

Urgent 24 Hour Help

If you urgently need to talk to someone about anything that is upsetting you, you can contact Samaritans 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can call 116 123 (free from any phone), email jo@samaritans.org or visit some branches in person. They won’t judge you, and could help you make sense of what you’re feeling.

If you would prefer not to talk but you are experiencing a mental health crisis and need support, you can text SHOUT to 85258. Shout offers a confidential 24/7 text service providing support if you are in crisis and need immediate help.
